Lead Federation Caretaker (Based at Seaton – Permanent / Part-time)

Job Term: Permanent (25 hours per week / 52 weeks)
Location: Seaton Primary School

We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our friendly and hard-working federation Premises Team to assist with leading Caretaking duties across our federation.

The post will be based at Seaton Primary school, but there will be a requirement to work in our other federation schools alongside other caretakers for a range of caretaking activities and maintenance projects.

Using your previous skills and knowledge in the maintenance and management of buildings or facilities you will work to ensure that we provide a safe, well maintained learning environment for the staff and children in our schools. Working mainly outside of school hours you will need to be committed to working a mix of regular weekly hours and negotiable hours during the weekends and holidays for larger projects. You will need to be flexible to some changes in school timetabled events throughout the year. You must be physically fit, being able to manually move tables, chairs and other classroom furniture safely.

You will also need to be a driver with access to a car to move between the schools as required, for which mileage will be reimbursed.

Federation Cleaner (Based at Colton and Shute – Permanent / Part-time)

We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our friendly and hard-working federation premises team to assist with cleaning duties at Colyton and Shute Primary School.

Using your previous skills in the cleaning of buildings or facilities you will provide the cleaning of designated classrooms, shared spaces and other non-teaching working spaces.  Working outside of school hours you will need to be committed to working 2 hours a day on cleaning duties whilst, during the holidays, you will need to cover a rota of work to be completed during the holiday period. You will need to be flexible to some changes in school timetable events throughout the year. Physically fit you will must be able to manually move tables, chairs and other classroom furniture safely in order to clean the rooms.
