We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our friendly and hard-working federation Business Support Team to assist with leading cleaning duties at our Shute and Colyton Seaton Primary Schools.

Initially the post will be based at Shute Primary school and will concentrate on the cleaning of just that school. With the progressive retirement of other staff you will move to take on the Lead Cleaner role across the two schools around April-May 2018.

Using your previous skills or knowledge in the cleaning of buildings or facilities you will assist the Facilities Manager by leading the cleaning of designated classrooms, shared spaces and other non-teaching working spaces across the two schools. Working outside of school hours you will need to be committed to working an average of 2.5 hours a day on cleaning duties whilst, during the holidays, you will need to cover a rota of work to be completed during the holiday period. You will need to be flexible to some changes in school timetabled events throughout the year. Physically fit you will must be able to manually move tables, chairs and other classroom furniture safely in order to clean the rooms.

You will also need to be a driver with access to a car to move between the schools as required for which mileage will be reimbursed.
